1988-
Born in Barcelona, Pratts came out of the city’s graffiti scene and carried its urgency into painting. She works on found supports — cardboard, wood, plastic, whatever the street provides — with a recurring cast of spectral, cartoon-derived figures.
The paintings are made fast and left rough, and often extend into installation. Her subject is the point where childhood imagery turns unsettling, and the vitality of what gets discarded. She lives and works in Barcelona.
